Drover is currently in manufacturing and will be available in early 2027. Prior to launch, we are trialling on multiple ranches. Join our mailing list to be among the first to experience Drover when it becomes available.
Ear tags are simpler to manage than collars. Because they don't require resizing as the animal grows, they offer a low-maintenance solution that fits into existing ranching workflows.
Drover utilizes EMS technology to guide cattle through muscle contractions, similar to reins on a horse. This is significantly less than the 3000v+ required for shock collars and uses only around 0.02% of the energy. We are overseen by veterinarians and animal welfare experts & animal welfare is a top priority in what we do.
Learn more about EMS technology →Yes, Drover tags have been tested extensively in tough conditions and with tough cattle. The EMS technology provides reliable directional control even in difficult terrain and across all types of cattle.
While still in manufacturing, we are yet to release pricing. However, when we do release pricing, it will be easy to find and without a 'call for a quote' process.
The tags are roughly the size of a maxi tag, and while weight has not been finalized, it is within the researched acceptable range.
