# Drover > Drover is replacing fencing on ranches with an ear tag that moves cattle using their muscles — virtual fencing in the form factor every rancher already knows. Drover is building a rugged, solar-powered ear tag that combines low-power GPS, cellular, and satellite connectivity, embedded sensing, and patent-pending muscle stimulation (EMS) to guide cattle directionally — without electric shock. Founded by Callum Taylor (Harvard EE, 5 generations of ranching) and Samuel Aubin (USYD CS), both from Australian ranching towns. Backed by Workshop Ventures (the founders of SimpliSafe). Commercial launch planned for Q1 2027. ## Pages - [Home](https://getdrover.com/): Product overview, value proposition, and a looped product video. - [EMS](https://getdrover.com/ems): How Drover's Electronic Muscle Stimulation moves cattle using muscle contractions instead of electric shock, with demonstration videos. - [About](https://getdrover.com/about): Company background, founders, and mission. - [Pricing](https://getdrover.com/pricing): Pricing details. - [Careers](https://getdrover.com/careers): Open roles and how to pitch a custom role. - [Waitlist](https://getdrover.com/waitlist): Mailing list signup for product updates. ## Key facts - Virtual fencing in an ear tag — not a collar. - Guides cattle using EMS (muscle contractions), not electric shock. - Solar-powered — no batteries to change. - No base stations or fixed infrastructure required. - 2 patents pending. ## Contact - General: support@getdrover.com - Careers: support@getdrover.com
